How to Maintenance Allen Bradley Drives Operator Keyboard Enclosure?

Maintenance
• Moisture Protection: Ensure the device is stored in a dry environment. High humidity or condensation can lead to damage, including electrical short circuits and screen malfunction.
• Avoid Direct Sunlight: Keep the touch screen out of prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can cause overheating and degrade the screen material over time.
• Physical Protection: Avoid placing heavy objects on the membrane switch and shell cover, as pressure can do damage, leading to cracks or impairing touch sensitivity.

To clean the Plastic Cover Membrane Switch of AB Drives properly:

1. Use a soft, lint-free cloth for cleaning the termianl keypad and case.
2. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could scratch or damage the housing and operator keyboard. Do not scrub, use brushes, abrasive cleaners or solvents.
3. Dry the membrane keypad HMI Case with a chamois or moist cellulose sponge to avoid water spots.
