The electrodes are comprised of 0.1 - 0.2mm thick ITO-coated film. These adhere to a 1 - 2 mm thick plastic substrate. Gunze 100-1450 100-1560 100-1730 100-2580 Touch Panel adjusts the heat expansion coefficients of the polycarbonate material used in its touch panels, overcoming warping problems that can result when plastic is used instead of glass. In addition to being lightweight and fracture-resistant, polycarbonate can be shaped in any way imaginable, enabling design possibilities other than traditional rectangles or squares.
